“Connecting With Your Creativity” – Luisa Omielan

In this exciting first episode of Magnify Your Impact, Craig speaks with comedian, actress and writer, Luisa Omielan.

Extraordinarily successful and talented, Luisa first started stand-up comedy in 2008 performing at the Brighton Fringe Festival. She eventually created her one-woman show, What Would Beyonce Do?!, which she took on tour to 12 countries and recorded as a BBC special. It was named “one of the biggest stand up hits of the decade’ by the Guardian.

She soon crowdfunded her own DVD, and released it herself. Luisa has also received a BAFTA breakthrough accolade, and her third show, Politics For Bitches, was partly turned into a BBC documentary. Most recently, Luisa’s fans crowdfunded her first off-Broadway in New York City.

In this podcast, Luisa reveals her journey and how she shot to success, plus:

  • How to connect with your creativity so you walk your own path to greatness
  • The 3 keys that led to her success as a stand-up comedian (that you can start using today, whether you’re a performer or not)
  • How her deepest values helped her triumph over the ‘smoke and mirrors’ of success
  • Why crowdfunding launched her success (and how it helped her make a positive contribution to the world)
  • And so much more!
