But I’m no run-of-the-mill inspirational speaker. Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, I’ve traveled the globe, working in the private sector and with charity enterprises and nonprofits.
I’ve climbed Kilimanjaro. Jumped from airplanes. Trekked the Amazon.
And during my travels, I’ve immersed myself in some of the most diverse cultures on the planet, learning lessons in love, courage, compassion and empowerment.

Giving Africa
Exchanging Wealth To Enrich Us All
In 2010, I founded Giving Africa, a charity focused on creating a strong organization to build Bethel Secondary School. This 800 student facility is located in Burkina Faso, one of the poorest countries in the world.
Here, adult literacy is just 37% and jobs are few and far between. Families are forced to choose, on a daily basis, which of their children will eat.
Giving Africa helps to change this through high-quality education, real opportunities and self-sustaining outcomes. Our holistic approach gives these children valuable resources, relevant skills, excellent teachers and the nutrition needed to effectively learn.
By empowering children, they don’t have to go hungry. They get to choose a better life, whether it’s through gainful employment, higher education or entrepreneurship.
However, the help isn’t one-sided. While we may be financially wealthy in the West, we’re spiritually poor. Through Giving Africa, these amazing people in Burkina Faso give us what we lack through community, spirituality and connection.
It’s an exchange of wealth with the power to enrich the world.

As a philanthropist, Craig founded Giving Africa in 2010; a charity that empowers 800 children at Bethel Secondary School in Burkina Faso with high-quality education, resources, relevant skills and nutrition. Giving Africa currently feeds 250 children a day/per year and gives 150+ children vocational skills, sponsorships, medical checks and more for a brighter future of employment, higher education or entrepreneurship.
